We understand that many people are apprehensive of  dental treatment,  our sympathetic team uses the most modern techniques to make your treatment comfortable and relaxing. Your teeth are important to your well being and you shouldn’t allow any concerns to prevent you from having a great smile.

Completely modern practice with the latest equipment

Our practices have been completely designed with the patient in mind and every detail was planned to optimise comfort and service. To facilitate this we have installed brand new modern equipment throughout the practices.

Kodak Digital X-Ray Imaging

We have  periapical digital units at all our practices as well as a Kodak 8000 Digital Panoramic system which allows us to view the entire upper and lower jaw as well as all the teeth the maxillary sinus and the TMJ joints. This has been installed at our Bloubergstrand practice.

Digital X-Rays is a great aid in early detection of many problems including dental caries and bone loss.

Dental Chairs Are Important

Adec dental units and chairs, state of the art dental equipment from the United states. Our patients are so happy with the performance of this equipment that we have installed a total of three brand new chairs at each of our practices in the last six months. These chairs are fitted with fibre-optic hand-pieces which creates  excellent illumination of any area of the mouth to be treated.

We have invested in many other aspects of dentistry like Automated root canal machinery and apex location technology which improves the treatment time and helps to eliminate discomfort that is usually associated with this type of treatment.

Emergency same day treatment

We work with and prefer appointments but we also accept same day appointments as we know that emergencies do occur and want to be able to assist our patients.

Gentle care for nervous patients, including conscious sedation and general anaesthetic

We have been very fortunate to work with a very dedicated Anaesthetist with whom can be arranged procedures in our rooms to be carried out under conscious sedation.

Alternatively we can also arrange theatre at very reasonable and cost effective rates. We  facilitate our nervous and anxious patients to utilize the options which will make them most comfortable.

Conscious sedation

Conscious sedation is a combination of medicines to help you relax (a sedative) and to block pain (an anaesthetic) during a medical or dental procedure. At our practice this is administered by a suitably qualified conscious sedation practitioner who then also monitors the patient throughout the procedure. Conscious sedation lets you recover quickly and return to your everyday activities soon after your procedure.

General Anaesthetic

A general anaesthetic  is a drug that brings about a reversible loss of consciousness. These drugs are  administered by an anaesthesia provider in hospital to induce or maintain general anaesthesia to facilitate surgery.

Smile makeovers and teeth whitening

The options here really depend on the patients needs, preferences and budget. We will evaluate your needs with you and can carrie out procedures as simple as teeth whitening to full mouth rehabilitations to improve your oral health and confidence depending on your needs. Teeth whitening is a much broader field than expressed in mass media. There are options and costs to suit most budgets.

Bad breath treatments

This is such a common problem which  can completely erode the confidence of the patient suffering with the condition. Often many attempts have been unsuccessfully made to address this problem. We take this problem very seriously and develop a full treatment plan after careful evaluation and consultation with our patients.

We are often faced with patients who are uncertain of how a smile can be improved or problem fixed.
